This holiday season, WCS Permits & sister company, Right of Way, Inc. are raising funds for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

This year, WCS Permits & Pilot Cars along with sister company, Right of Way Inc., is coming together to raise funds for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Not only is St. Jude Children’s Hospital the leading children’s hospital in childhood cancers and pediatric disease, but the hospital has a special meaning to one of WCS’ employees.
Long-time industry professional and WCS Transportation Consultant, Tracy Yantis, has been battling cancer for some time. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. She underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy treatment that same year with the hope she had won the battle. Unfortunately in August of this year, Tracy found out her cancer was back. This time the cancer is in her pancreas and superior vein. She has since started another round of chemo to shrink the tumors, and with success, Tracy will have surgery in January in which a portion of her pancreas will be removed.
Now Tracy is worried about genetics and how cancer could affect the lives of her grown children and three grandkids – ages 3, 9 and 15. For that reason, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is WCS’ (and Tracy’s) charity of choice this holiday season. Sadly, Tracy’s family has a history of cancer; her mother is a two-time breast cancer survivor with her first diagnosis at age 55. Her grandmother also had breast cancer, her diagnosis at 65, and Tracy was first diagnosed at the age of 45.
Please join us in supporting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital – Columbus, OH.
