A Delaware transportation permit is required when a load exceeds the standard legal dimensions (height, width or length) or weight to travel on Delaware public roadways.

In Delaware, a transportation permit is needed when a load exceeds the following:

8’6″ wide
13’6″ high
60’0″ long
80,000 pounds

Note that in Delaware, there are load exemptions for transportation permit requirements.
