Load Exemptions:

Poles, pipes, machinery, or objects of a structural
nature-Length only

  • Length:
    • 53′6″ trailer & load
  • Overhang:
    • 60′ poles, pipes, machinery, steel beams, or other objects of a structural
      nature do not require a permit for
      daylight travel for up to 90′ overall
      length.
  • Night travel requires a permit.
  • Otherwise, up to 53′-6″ trailer/load is allowed without a permit.
  • If long beams are on a stretch trailer and do
    not extend beyond the rear of the trailer,
    then a permit is required

Permit Fee/Legal Weight:

$22.00 (including a $5.00 transmittal fee)

Permit Fee/Overweight:

$22.00 + Per ton Charge

Overweight Only:

  • 0-100 miles: $22.00 + $8.00 (per ton or fraction of)
  • 101-150 miles: $22.00 + $10.00
  • 151-200 miles: $22.00 + $12.00
  • 201-250 miles: $22.00 + $14.00
  • 251 miles or greater: $22.00 + $16.00

Superload Fees:

  • $250.00
  • Superload Fee applied for loads greater than
    180,000 lbs.
Mileage Fees:

Overweight Only:

  • 0-100 miles: $22.00 + $8.00 (per ton or
    fraction of)
  • 101-150 miles: $22.00 + $10.00
  • 151-200 miles: $22.00 + $12.00
  • 201-250 miles: $22.00 + $14.00
  • 251 miles or greater: $22.00 + $16.00
