Alabama’s OS/OW Permit System Maintenance

The Alabama Department of Transportation’s oversize/overweight only permit system will be unavailable for almost 24 hours due to the implementation of a new online ordering system. 

Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. online ordering will be unavailable while the new online system is implemented. Alabama DOT expects the new system to be live Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.

Any oversize permits remaining in the queue when the system goes down Tuesday, Feb. 26 will not be transferred to the new system.
