Some Canadian Provences will have oversize travel restrictions on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Remembrance Day.

Remembrance Day in Canada is observed on November 11th to commemorate the end of World War I and to honor the sacrifices of all Canadians who have served in the nation’s defense. I

Here’s a list of oversize load travel restrictions by Provence:

Alberta

No travel allowed if over 3.85m wide from 3:00pm on 11/10 and all day 11/11.

British Columbia

No travel allowed if over 31.0m long or 3.80m wide after 3:30 pm on 11/10 and no travel on 11/11 based on size. REFER to any attached restrictions in your permit quoting your specific dimensions and area of travel for specific restrictions on your load.

Saskatchewan

No travel allowed if over 3.85m wide, 42m long, or 9m rear effective overhang after 3:00pm on 11/10, or after 12 noon on 11/11.

Manitoba

No travel restrictions on this day.

Ontario

No travel restrictions on this day.

Quebec

No travel allowed on 11/11.

New Brunswick

No travel after 3:00pm on 11/10 or after noon on 11/11 If over 3.65m wide and/or 30m long. REFER to permits for specific restrictions regarding your oversize load.

Newfoundland

No travel allowed if over 3.65m wide after 3:00pm on 11/10 until sunrise the 11/12, unless otherwise stated on permit.


NWT and the Yukon

No travel restrictions on this day.

Nova Scotia

No travel allowed after noon on 11/11 unless otherwise stated on your permit.

Prince Edward Island

No special travel restrictions. Daylight oversize travel only.
