Wisconsin is hosting the National Football League Draft in Green Bay from April 24 -26, 2025, which will affect oversize load travel, including times where OS/OW travel is prohibited. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is working to ensure that safety, traffic flow and continued operations are maintained during the draft.
Oversize-Overweight (OSOW) carriers are encouraged to find routes outside the Green Bay area from Tuesday, April 22 to Monday, April 28, 2025, to avoid heavy special event traffic.
- WisDOT will be restricting issuing any Single-Trip Permits during the timeframes for travel on the roadways identified below.
- All Multiple-Trip Permit holders are asked to avoid travel in these identified areas.
Travel is prohibited during the curfew times below for Single Trips. The Single Trip curfews encompass:
Green Bay Area
- All interior Green Bay movements between I-41 and I-43 affecting STH 29, 32, 54, 57, 141; 6AM April 22 – 6AM April 28.
- STH 172 westbound from I-43 to I-41; daily 6AM-9PM April 22 – April 27.
- STH 172 eastbound from I-41 to I-43; daily 3PM-2AM April 22 – morning of April 28.
Outside Green Bay Area
- I-43 northbound from the Marquette Interchange Milwaukee to I-41 Green Bay; daily 6AM-6PM April 22-23, daily 6AM-9PM April 24-26, and daily 6AM-6PM April 27.
- I-41 northbound from the Zoo Interchange Milwaukee to I-43 Green Bay; daily 6AM-6PM April 22-23, daily 6AM-9PM April 24-26, and daily 6AM-6PM April 27.
- STH 29 eastbound from I-39 Wausau to I-41 Green Bay; daily 6AM-6PM April 22-23 Brown County only, daily 6AM-9PM April 24-26 entire stretch, and daily 6AM-6PM April 27 Brown County only.
- I-43 southbound from I-41 Green Bay to the Marquette Interchange Milwaukee; daily 7PM-3AM April 22- morning of April 28
- I-41 southbound from I-43 Green Bay to the Zoo Interchange Milwaukee; daily 7PM-3AM April 22- morning of April 28
- STH 29 westbound from I-41 Green Bay to I-39 Wausau; daily 3PM-2AM April 22-23 Brown County only, daily 3PM-2AM April 24-26 entire stretch, and daily 3PM-2AM April 27- morning of April 28 Brown County only.
