South Carolina has updated their process for ordering temporary trip & fuel permits, and WCS Permits & Pilot Cars can now handle it all on your behalf.
It’s important to note that in order for WCS Permits to process your South Carolina trip & fuel permits your company must register with the jurisdiction. The registration process can take up to 5 days so plan ahead.
Once registered, you will get a username and password from the state of South Carolina. Your WCS Permit’s transportation agent will log into the state’s site with those credentials to order your temporary trip (IRP)Â &Â fuel (IFTA) permits for you. In logging in, WCS Permits will only have access to manage your trip & fuel permits.
To streamline the process, the state will require some additional info once your account is set up. Your WCS Permits’ agent will be in touch to get that handled which will make future orders more efficient.
This new update from South Carolina streamlines the permitting process and allows us to continue to obtain your permits for you with fast turnarounds.
