UPDATE

At about 5 p.m. EST, Ohio officials said  the westbound lanes of I-70 near State Route 79 have reopened. Traffic is moving slowly in that area. Crews are Parts of I-70 Remain Closed Due to Floodingworking to reopen the eastbound lanes.

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced Friday that portions of Interstate 70 in Licking county are closed due to flooding.

Officials say I-70 west near exit 142/ U.S. 40 and I-70 east between S.R. 158 and S.R. 79 is closed.

I 70 W is closed between US-40and SR158.  All traffic is being routed onto US-40.
