PA loads allowed seven day travel

It is now OK for permitted loads to travel seven days a week from sunrise to sunset, except for holidays, in Pennsylvania.

As of January 25, 2014, permitted loads were able to travel for the first time on weekends in the state. Previously, over-dimensional loads were only allowed travel Monday through Friday.

This new rule excludes travel during holidays and holiday weekends or inclement weather, as well as travel in urban areas by departmental regulation. Always check each permit for additional travel restrictions, and permits are still valid for the same period of time.
