State Permit Offices Closed Due to Inclement Weather

Here is a current list of state oversize permit offices that are closed due to the storms for Friday, February 19, 2021. While some state offices are closed, no new oversize load or wide load permits will be processed. Everyone at WCS Permits & Pilot Cars is staying in close communication with all states affected by the weather. We will update as we gather more information and updates that come in.

Connecticut

Winter Storm Notice, Friday 2/19,21: Due to ongoing snow and freezing rain throughout the state, oversize load permits will not be issued for travel this a.m. until further notice.

New York City

Due to the storm, NYC DOT has suspended day travel for Friday, February 19 moves from 10 am – 4 pm. Any oversize permit applications that have been approved, will be voided and anything in pending or review will be rejected.

Maine

Currently open but a winter advisory posted. If you have a load headed to or from Maine be sure to check ahead before applying throughout the day.

New Hampshire

Currently open and issuing permits.

Texas

The permit office will again be closed on Friday, February 19.
