**UPDATE: The South Carolina DOT office is closed on 8/8 due to inclement weather.**

Florida & South Carolina have issued executive orders, allowing the DOTs to suspend size and weight restrictions for divisible loads on any vehicle transporting emergency relief goods amid Tropical Storm Debby.

The executive orders authorized the DOTs for both states to issue an emergency relief permit.

Both permits are valid for any semi or tractor-trailer hauling any essential goods and products in response to Tropical Storm Debby. The permit/permits must be carried by the driver.
