Winter Storm Affects Oversize Permit Issuance

Winter Storm Heather continues to bring heavy snow to Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennesse, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi and more.

As of Wednesday, Jan. 17, a few states have oversize load permit office closures as a result of the winter storm, which will affect the issuance of oversize load permits.

Louisiana: Due to the inclement weather The Permit Office will be closed Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Arkansas: The Highway Police Permit Office will be closed Wednesday, January 17, 2024.. because of the Winter Weather. All State Offices are closed on Jan. 16, 2024.
