Due to the snow storm (potential blizzard) in the Washington, D.C. area, the Arkansas, Kentucky, Maryland (closing at noon), North Carolina, Â Tennessee and Virginia, Department of Transportation Permit Departments will be closed on Friday, January 22.
No oversize load permits will be issued as a result.
The state of Maryland has delared a statewide snow emergeny. Movemet of oversize loads requiring an oversize load permit are strictly prohibited from moving until further notie. Emergeny move requests should be directed to the Statewide generic naltrexone Operations Center at 410-582-5650. Permitted loads already moving should make immediate plans to lay over at a safe location.
It is expected that the offices will resume normal business Monday, Jan. 25, weather permitting.
