Effective 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 Spring load limit restrictions will be removed from the following road segments.
SD 40 – Hermosa to Cheyenne River – MRM 47.90 to 69.00 – 7 Tons/Axle
SD 71 – Nebraska Line to 2 miles south of Cheyenne River – MRM 0.00 to 21.00 – 7 Tons/Axle
SD 471 – Provo to US18 – MRM 19.00 to 24.00 – 7 Tons/Axle
The effective date of the load restrictions is determined by weather and road conditions.
A Spring Load Limit Restriction report is usually issued in advance of any major load restriction change. This report is issued for guidance and does not take precedence over load restriction signs in place.
