Oversize Restriction in Place at the IL/MO Line

A new oversize load restriction is now in effect on I-255, near the Illinois/Missouri line.

The oversize restriction in Illinois near the IL/MO line on I-255 (both EB and WB) from milepost 13-17.

The restriction starts on 02/01/25 and lasts until 07/31/25, and the restriction pertains to any oversize load requiring a permit.

There is not a good reroute around it so oversize load drivers should plan on using an alternate route. I-270 is restricted to 120,000 lbs until 12/31/2030 and 12-0 wide until 06/30/27 so if loads over that width or weight please keep in mind that will not be an option for a reroute.
