OK to Discontinue Use of Provisional (Book) PermitsEffective July 1, 2016 Oklahoma State Legislation will be discontinuing the use of provisional permits and/or book permits.

As of this date all use of provisional permits and/or book permits must cease and any unused permits must be returned to  the Size & Weights Permit Division no later than July 1, 2016. If any driver is stopped with provisional permits and/or book permits in their possession on or after July 1, 2016 they will be seized by either the OHP or OCC and returned to Size & Weights Permits Division. Furthermore if anyone is stopped for using such permits for their move they will be fined for having “No Authorized Permit” in their possession at the time of their move.
