MN Announces New OS/OW Permit System

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (DOT) has announced a new oversize/overweight permit system is coming soon. MN Announces OS/OW Permit System

In an e-statement circulated on Wednesday, January 19, the MN DOT said that within two months they will be launching “Minnesota SUPERLOAD.” The new oversize/overweight permit system will replace their existing oversize load permit process. The new system specifically provides improved accessibility that allows a user to: 

  • Order oversize load permits and route trips on any desktop web browser, smartphone or tablet
  • Plan and route moves using an interactive map
  • Pay for multiple oversize permits in a single transaction

Stay tuned for more information on the new system. WCS Permit Agents are staying in the loop with state officials so they can train (if necessary) and quickly transition to the new system once it’s live.
