Interstate 20 is at a halt as heavy rains caused flooding in Louisiana.
The state of emergency has the eastbound I-20 closed at I-220 in Bossier City and both directions of the highway were closed between Exit 61 and Exit 55 in Bienville Parish, Louisiana State Police spokesman Matt Harris told KSLA, affecting oversize travel.
New Orleans officials are reminding all that driving in flooded streets and highways is prohibited.
